Union Council

Union Council

Your platform to make change happen

What is Union Council?

Union Council is the platform for any Middlesex University student to voice their concerns, hold the elected officers to account and vote on any ideas that make your time at university the best it can be! Students' views are at the centre of everything we do, so we want to make sure every student has the opportunity to make change within their Students' Union and their university experience.

What happens at Union Council?

During Union Council, members present can:

→ Give updates and feedback about the things they are working on

→ Discuss, organise, and support campaigns, events, projects and ideas

→ Debate idea proposals and vote on whether to approve them to become the political policy of the union

Who can attend?

Any Middlesex student can attend and submit an idea to Union Council and voice their concerns. All students who attend are eligible to vote.

Have an idea?

Submit your ideas for change and have them discussed at the next Union Council meeting.
