Aivin Saji's Role:
As your former MDXSU President, I've spent the last year actively listening to students, building relationships across the university, and advocating for meaninful change. Through that journey, one thing has become clear: we need more connection, celebration, and belonging outside the classroom
That's why I'm running to be your Activities Officer, to continue the work I've started, and to make our campus a more vibrant, inclusive, and exciting place for everyone.
What I want to focus on:
A Cultural Fest that Celebrates Everyone
Establishing an annual Cultural Fest where students can share, perform, and represent their culture and identity. Ensuring the event is collaborative, with students groups leading the way and make it a festival that's inclusive of all students, not just international or cultural societies.
More Inclusive & Impactful Events Year-Round
Planning events that speak to all interests from casual social hangouts to career-linked activities and ensuring they are accessible in timing, format, and atmosphere.
More Reasons to be on Campus
Integrating volunteering and skills-building opportunities into events, in collaboration with MDX Works and Student Services while also creating more midweek community events, so you'll always have something to look forward to.
Let's make this happen together!
