I don't think releasing the timetable 2 weeks before term starts is sufficent. 

As a part-time, mature student, it is almost impossible to plan my life around my studies without knowing which days I will be in university. I am lucky to have an employer who is very accomodating, but this does not take away the stress of not knowing when I will be required to attend classes. 

I am proposing that the university confirm student's timetable 4 weeks in advance of term time starting.
