Start a New Society

If you've looked at what's on offer and can't find a society that matches your interests, start your own! We'll help you every step of the way and soon you'll be meeting with likeminded students while enjoying all the financial, promotional and administrative support MDXSU can offer.

Leading a society has lots of benefits. Firstly, you'll get the chance to meet lots of new people and forge new friendships. Furthermore, as part of the society committee, you'll gain experience and skills that employers love - from leadership skills to events organisation - and you'll create connections and networks that could help you pin down that dream job post-graduation. The time and effort you put in can also be officially recognised within our society recognition scheme, plus it might win your society an award too. How amazing is your CV going to look?
