We have restructured our student officers’ roles to better serve and support our student body, transitioning from the previous titles of Academic Experience Officer, Equity & Inclusion Officer, Community & Citizenship Officer, Social Justice Officer and MDXSU President to more streamlined and focused positions: Education Officer, Activities Officer, and MDXSU President. This change enables our officers to address student needs more efficiently and effectively.
Aivin Saji

As MDXSU President, Aivin’s primary purpose is to represent Student Members to the University and external audiences at all levels. Acting as a public-facing spokesperson for MDXSU and all its activities, Aivin will play a crucial role in promoting student well-being, providing student support, advocacy, and resources to address a wide range of welfare issues, ensuring students have the assistance they need to thrive personally and academically.

Mihita, our new Education Officer, is set to make a significant impact on the academic experience of students at Middlesex University. Mihita’s main purpose in this role is to represent students in academic matters and advocate for students’ academic interests. The Education Officer’s role aims to achieve real positive change in teaching and learning, enhancing the student experience and influencing the future generation of students in the best way possible.
Mohit Vyasam

The primary purpose of this role is to represent students in matters relating to the student community and enrich their experience by organising a diverse range of extracurricular activities and events. Mohit will support Student Group Leaders, helping them identify and address the needs of the student community, promote student engagement and provide opportunities for personal and professional development outside the classroom.
We are sad to say goodbye to Sagar Joshi, Jay Suryavanshi, Sukritha Pothaganti, Omar Numaan and Sahil Patel – you have done a great job representing the students’ union. As we look ahead to the upcoming year, we’re excited to see what our new officers will bring to the table and the incredible things they’ll accomplish.
