Your votes have been counted, and we can now announce the results of the MDXSU Elections 2023!
2,155 Middlesex University students voted between Monday 20th and Thursday 23rd February, with a total of 9006 votes being cast across 6 elections.
These elections included the full-time MDXSU President and four officer roles - Equity & Inclusions Officer, Academic Experience Officer, Community & Citizenship Officer and Social Justice Officer, as well as three part-time Student Trustee positions.

MDXSU ELECTIONS RESULTS
The below students will commence their roles in July 2023. The President, Equity & Inclusions Officer, Academic Experience Officer, Community & Citizenship Officer, Social Justice Officer and Student Trustees have each been elected for a one-year term.

Elected for the first year in the office, Jay’s manifesto includes pledges to increase the number of instalment plans, create more part-time job opportunities for students, enhance student experience and start MDX Media to provide students a platform to share their thoughts, and opinions and experiences. As a non-profit, charitable organisation, the work of Middlesex Students' Union is overseen by a Trustee Board - MDXSU's highest governing body. Student Trustees sit on the Trustee Board and help to decide the long-term goals of the Union.
The Student Trustee election saw two available Student Trustee positions, with 15 students putting themselves forward for the roles with the winning candidates as follows:
