MDXSU Trustee Role
Ready to help shape the future of students’ lives?
Middlesex Students’ Union (MDXSU) is looking for three new external Trustees, including a new Chair of the Board, to join our vibrant and values-driven organisation.
Term: 4 years
Salary: Volunteer Role (reasonable expenses paid)
Available Positions: 3 roles, including Chair of the Board
Location: Middlesex University, Hendon Campus, North London (in-person meetings approx. 5 times per year)
Deadline: 6th June 2025, 9am
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about education, social justice, and the power of student-led change. As a Trustee, you’ll help shape MDXSU’s strategic direction, scrutinise finances, and ensure we’re fulfilling our charitable purpose. Student Opportunities
Student Trustee Role
Term: 1 or 2 years, 1st July 2025 - 30th June 2026/27. You must be a student at Middlesex University for the duration of the term.
Salary: Volunteer Role (Part-time, approximately 30 hours per year)
Available Positions: 3 roles - for a 1-year term or a 2-year term
Location: Middlesex University, Hendon Campus, North London

Who can become a Student Trustee?
This is a part-time role open to all registered Middlesex University London students, student trustees must be students alongside doing the role.
Student Trustee Responsibilities
As a non-profit, charitable organisation, the work of Middlesex University's Students' Union is overseen by a Trustee Board - MDXSU's highest governing body. If you love the idea of making high-level decisions for an award-winning organisation with 11,000 members, or you want to learn more about business and strategy in a real environment (or maybe put your existing knowledge to good use), then this is the position for you. If selected as one of our Student-Trustees, you will attend Trustee Board meetings roughly twice a term throughout the year, sitting alongside the three full-time Student Officers and our expert external trustees to discuss finances, strategy and long-term goals for your Students' Union. This is a part-time student role, which you can fulfil alongside your studies. The deadline for applications is 12 pm on the 19th May, interviews will be held shortly after.

Are you a talented and creative individual looking to gain experience in content creation and marketing? Are you passionate about producing engaging and informative content that resonates with students? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! MDXSU is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Content Creator to join our team on a casual, 0-hour contract basis. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative content that engages and inform our student community.
