MDXSU appoints Rohini Kumar as new Chair of the Board of Trustees
Middlesex University Students' Union (MDXSU) is delighted to announce the appointment of Rohini Kumar as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Rohini brings a distinguished career in senior leadership across government, trade & investment and international development. She currently focuses on mobilising capital into emerging markets and developing economies at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, where her portfolio has included leading a major impact investment programme and supporting energy transition in the Global South. Earlier in her career, Rohini spent nearly a decade at HM Treasury, including working directly on charity and third sector policy. She studied Law at Middlesex University in the early 1990s and retains deep connections to north London and the communities the university serves.
Rohini takes over from Jaki Booth, who has served as Interim Chair of the Board. Jaki will continue to serve on the Board as a lay trustee.

Rohini brings exactly the combination of experience, values and connection to north London that this role needs.
